Algarve needs an extra 66 doctors for summer

The Algarve needs an extra 66 doctors to uphold its annual summer reinforcement, according to the Regional Health Administration (ARS Algarve).

The Algarve Health Board says it has published the openings and it is now up to doctors to apply. Among the requirements, according to the ARS Algarve, are 10 anaesthesiologists (five for Portimão Hospital and five for Faro Hospital); three cardiologists for Faro Hospital, a paediatric cardiologist also for Faro hospital, and four gynaecologists / obstetricians for both hospitals.
