Monchique wildfire now out

A large wildfire that was raging in Monchique yesterday afternoon was brought under control yesterday evening and has been extinguished.
Rescue services are now dealing with the aftermath of the fire, although reports state no injuries or damage to homes were caused by the blaze.
The fire broke out in an area of scrubland and eucalyptus trees shortly after 3pm and was dominated by 8pm.
