Part of Malhão beach in Odemira officially declared naturist beach

The northern Malhão beach in Odemira was yesterday officially declared a naturist beach, as part of commemorations to mark World Naturism Day.
The decision to formalise Malhão as a naturist beach was unanimously by the Municipal Assembly of Odemira, at the request of the Portuguese Federation of Naturism.
Odemira now has three official nudist beaches, which the local council says has “clear benefits for the region” as it “attracts more visitors”.
