Passenger traffic at airports rises amid tourism boom
Traffic at Portuguese airports has increased by 6.2% in the first quarter of the year to over 11 million passengers.
According to Vinci Airports, which owns ANA, passenger traffic in Portuguese airports rose to almost 56 million passengers the past 12 months.
Growth was particularly strong at Faro, where passenger numbers were up by more than 12 percent and Porto, where traffic was up by just under 10 percent.
