According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mireille Soria, president of Paramount Animation, said the five members of the group – Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm, Geri Halliwell and Victoria Beckham – are involved in the project. Although Victoria Beckham is not on the current musical tour with the group.
The soundtrack of the animation will count with classics of the group, in addition to new songs. Karen McCullah and Kiwi Smith are responsible for the script.
There is no preview yet, but confirmation was given by Soria along with the announcement of other Paramount projects scheduled to enter the market from 2020.
