Three strikes are to jolt the Algarve tourism scene between now and August. The first strike is due to take place today, by workers at the Hotel Faro, in Faro.
Another hotel workers’ strike is scheduled for 29 June, at Clube Praia da Oura and Oura Praia Hotel, in Albufeira. However, the strike that will have the greatest impact on tourists is a general hospitality workers’ strike planned for August 1, called by the Hospitality Union.
